1. Welcome to STDP STUDIO

Welcome to STDP STUDIO, a creative design studio providing branding suites, visual identity development, and related creative design services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, bookings, purchases, and engagement with our creative services.

By accessing our website or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms. Additional terms may be included in your project proposal, invoice, or written service agreement.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from purchasing or using our services.

2. Our Services

STDP STUDIO offers creative services that may include:

Brand identity design and development.
Logo concepts and visual branding.
Branding suites and coordinated brand assets.
Marketing and promotional design.
Digital graphics and creative content.
Custom design projects and related consultations.

The exact scope, deliverables, pricing, and timeline of each service will be described in the applicable service listing, proposal, or written agreement.

Services not specifically included in an agreed project scope may require additional fees.

3. Bookings and Consultations

Clients may schedule consultations or creative service appointments through our website.

By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate contact information and attend at the scheduled time.

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled according to the terms communicated during booking.

A consultation does not guarantee project acceptance or reserve a production date unless confirmed by STDP STUDIO.

We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our capabilities, availability, or professional standards.

4. Pricing and Payments

All service prices are displayed on our website or communicated through an official proposal or invoice.

Clients agree to pay the applicable fees for the services selected.

Payment requirements, including deposits, installment arrangements, and final balances, will be communicated before purchase or project commencement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Payments must be made through approved payment methods.
Work may be scheduled to begin after the required initial payment is received.
Final deliverables may be withheld until all outstanding project balances are paid.
Additional work outside the original project scope may require an additional payment.
Clients are responsible for any applicable taxes or charges disclosed during checkout.

STDP STUDIO reserves the right to suspend work on accounts with overdue payments, subject to applicable law and the agreed payment terms.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Because STDP STUDIO provides custom creative services, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the purchase, the amount of work completed, and any applicable written agreement.

Refunds and cancellations will be handled according to the refund terms disclosed at the time of purchase or booking.

Clients who wish to cancel a project must submit their request in writing to:

Where permitted by applicable law, STDP STUDIO may retain payment for services already performed and approved project expenses incurred before cancellation.

Any applicable refund will be determined in accordance with the agreed terms and legal requirements.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to perform the requested services.

This may include:

Business names and relevant brand information.
Creative briefs, design preferences, and project goals.
Logos, photographs, text, or other existing brand materials.
Timely feedback and requested approvals.
Payment according to the agreed schedule.

Clients confirm that they own or have permission to use materials they provide to STDP STUDIO.

STDP STUDIO is not responsible for delays resulting from missing materials, incomplete instructions, or delayed client feedback.

7. Design Process and Revisions

Each branding suite or custom design project includes the deliverables and revision allowances specified in the purchased package or written agreement.

A revision refers to a reasonable adjustment to an existing design concept within the approved project scope.

Requests for entirely new concepts, substantial changes in direction, or additional deliverables may be considered new work and may incur additional fees.

STDP STUDIO will communicate any additional charges before performing work outside the agreed scope.

Project timelines may be adjusted when significant revisions, additional requests, or client delays occur.

8. Project Timelines and Delivery

Estimated project timelines will be provided during the booking, purchasing, or project planning process.

Delivery timelines depend on project complexity, client responsiveness, and the agreed scope of work.

STDP STUDIO will make reasonable efforts to meet communicated deadlines but cannot guarantee timelines affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Final files will be delivered using the format and delivery method specified in the applicable service agreement.

Editable source files, working files, and additional formats are included only when expressly stated in the purchased package or written agreement.

9. Intellectual Property and Design Ownership

STDP STUDIO retains ownership of its original concepts, preliminary designs, drafts, creative processes, templates, and other studio materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive the ownership rights or usage license expressly identified in their purchased package or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment for a completed project does not automatically transfer ownership of unused concepts, rejected drafts, preliminary designs, studio templates, or editable source files.

STDP STUDIO retains ownership of its business name, branding, website content, and other proprietary studio materials.

Clients may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of STDP STUDIO's proprietary materials outside the rights granted in their agreement.

Third-party fonts, stock assets, software resources, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licensing conditions.

10. AI-Assisted Creative Services

STDP STUDIO may incorporate artificial intelligence tools into certain stages of its creative process, including concept exploration, visual development, image generation, and creative production.

Our creative services may combine AI-assisted imagery with original human creative direction, composition, layout, typography, editing, and design development.

Clients acknowledge that AI-generated elements may be subject to third-party platform terms, licensing restrictions, and intellectual property limitations.

STDP STUDIO does not guarantee exclusive ownership, copyright registration eligibility, or trademark protection for AI-generated elements.

Where relevant, clients are responsible for obtaining independent legal guidance regarding trademark registration and intellectual property protection.

11. Portfolio and Promotional Use

STDP STUDIO may request permission to feature completed client projects in its professional portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials.

Confidential or unreleased client materials will not be intentionally disclosed without appropriate authorization.

Any agreed restrictions on portfolio use will be respected.

12. Confidentiality

STDP STUDIO respects the confidentiality of client information and business materials shared during a project.

We will take reasonable steps to protect nonpublic project information and will not intentionally disclose confidential client materials except as necessary to perform the services, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise authorized.

Clients are also expected to respect the confidentiality of proprietary studio materials shared during the creative process.

13. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Our website may integrate third-party platforms for hosting, bookings, payments, communications, and creative production.

STDP STUDIO is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or changes to third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

Use of third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Website Use

Visitors agree not to misuse the STDP STUDIO website or its content.

Prohibited activities include unauthorized copying of studio content, attempts to interfere with website security, fraudulent purchases, and use of our website for unlawful purposes.

All STDP STUDIO website branding, original content, graphics, and creative materials are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual property laws.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

STDP STUDIO strives to provide high-quality professional creative services.

However, we do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes, including increased sales, customer engagement, brand recognition, or business revenue resulting from the use of our designs.

Except as expressly stated in a written agreement and to the extent permitted by law, our website and services are provided without additional warranties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, STDP STUDIO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or creative services.

Any limitation of direct liability will be subject to applicable law and the terms of the relevant service agreement.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Clients are encouraged to contact STDP STUDIO first to seek a good-faith resolution of any concerns regarding services, payments, or deliverables.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a client from exercising rights or remedies available under applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

STDP STUDIO may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively alter an existing project agreement unless both parties agree or applicable law permits.
